CAREERS
At Magic Garden we are proud of our track record of developing high-quality teachers and contributing to the talent pool for the wider industry.
We believe that a career in Early Education is both a rewarding one as it provides the opportunity to share in the journey children make through key development years, and for the professional growth opportunities that such a career can offer, whether that be through developing expertise as a teacher or progressing into management.
Magic Garden actively works with local high school Gateway programmes and supports teaching students through their tertiary study. This can be as a home centre, for practicums and through providing the opportunity to earn a living while studying as a member of our team. We typically support 6-8 students per year.
We are fortunate to have an amazing team of highly skilled teachers and leaders. Our team culture is one that continually strives for excellence in how we educate and care for children but is also highly supportive and nurturing of each other.
Our teaching approach is progressive, inclusive, meaningful and supportive. Our teachers are encouraged to innovate, grow and apply new theories and creative concepts in practice, to heighten the learning experience and provide the foundation for a lifetime of curious, capable learning. Our resourcing levels and non-contact time, provide space for learning, coaching and mentoring.
At Magic Garden we offer many opportunities to work with us. Whether you are…
-

-
a tertiary student working to attain your teaching qualification
-
A new or recent graduate looking for your first teaching role
